Very costly to change Life airline booking

I was very disappointed in the booking experience, and the very hefty charge to change a flight, even a few minutes after making the initial booking. I had just heard of the death of a friend and was in shock, and so booked the wrong day. The charge to change the ticket was more than a single ticket. I understood one of Lift's advantages was the ability to change the ticket. Yes, but at such an extremely disproportionate price!!! Not again!!!
