Theft Lift airline

I traveled to Cape Town on the 11November 2025 on another airline as my dad had passed away.When returning we opted to book with Lift as it would be our first time traveling with the airline and wanted to try them out.

All i had was hand luggage which i was fine taking onto the plan with me , but when we reached the plan to board a lady asked me to leave my bag with them and i would collect when landing. This has happened before with other airlines but most time when i land my bang is at the door when disembarking, but Lift send it through to the carousel. Collected my bag and went home only to find my GHD is missing from my bag cable tie not on my bag any longer! From the very disorganized boarding to the most disorganized disembarking which we felt like we were in local taxi! I have come to the conclusion that ,that will be the first an last time i travel Lift.Thank you for costing me R4000 in the middle of losing a loved one and beong in grief. This is absolutely so embarrassing that you can get ****** while traveling on a plane where you are supposed to feel safe!!
