Lift website confusing, had to argue to get a refund, which they gave.

I pressed a button to book a flight change on Lift. I was under the impression that the price quoted was INCLUDING what I had already paid, meantime, it was a TOP UP because the changed flight was significantly more expensive.

I complained to Lift that their website was NOT clear on this point and that it looked to me like I was merely getting a quote.

To make matters worse, accepting the quote CANCELLED my existing flight. So I was FORCED to accept the higher flight price.

I raised the issue with them and they refunded me the difference and apologised for the confusion. I have asked them to make it clearer on their website that clicking a quote on a flight change schedule INSTANTLY cancels your existing price and REQUIRES you to pay the difference, and that it cannot be undone, or cancelled, once you click on the revised price. There is no dialog that comes up confirming that you are in fact accepting the revised price, NOR is it clear that the revised price is a TOP-UP not a total.

I have asked them to revise their website to make it perfectly clear that you are accepting a flight cancellation and price increase, when you click the quote that you find acceptable, on the list of quoted flights.

I will upgrade them to 5 stars if they make this change. I am however satisifed with the refund.
