Left stranded by Lift
I arrived at the bag drop 40 minutes prior to boarding and they refused to help me. I flew alone with my 14 month old baby and they still refused to help, seeing I am in distress. The reason for being 5 minutes late, was that the pre-booked parking was full and I had to drive around to find another parking lot to park at, seeing that I already booked and paid for my parking. They then sent me to the Lift desk, to get booked on another flight. Get there, and Lynn (extremely rude) tells me she can put me on a flight 3 hours later but I have to pay an additional R3200 as they only have business class available. The other option was to wait 6 hours for another flight where they have an economy seat available with a reduced additional fee payable. Please tell me how you expect me to sit at the airport for ANOTHER 6 hours with a 14 month old that is exhausted and over-stimulated? I had to book with another airline just to get out of the airport, and just lost the Lift ticket. I will never fly Lift again after being treated this way.
