False Advertising: NOT SA’s Most Flexible Airline!

Today I arrived back at OR Tambo from a lovely Mauritius holiday with a Lift flight back to CT.

As is the norm with international travel I have a layover of around 4 hours which I have always been able to spend at the lounge key, bidvest and slow lounges.

However, contrary to the norm across the airline industry your staff refused to check my baggage and told me I have to wait outside.

This means that the massages that had been arranged for me and my partner at the slow lounge and the food we had yo purchase is directly correlated to your inflexibility and misalignment with international travel norms and customer service.

The lady proceeded to say that even if she could take my bag early it will most certainly be ******/broken into.

Great work on building trust with your customers who entrust you with safe transit of their belongings.

However, In an attempt to find a resolution, I noticed there was an earlier flight around 1:30pm and when I asked if they can then bump us to the earlier flight (after confirming there is space) the lady at your ticket desk refused.

It seems that my experience has highlighted several points of inflexibility.

Thus I believe it is safe to say that you are misleading your customers with false advertising.

As such, I believe it only right to report this to you and the advertising and airline regulatory authorities.

I am sure you would agree that direct policy inflexibility that goes against accepted customer experience standards is not the type of brand you want to portray.

How do you plan to fix this?
