Constant delays due to repairs

Had a flight at 6AM and got to the boarding gate at 5AM. Got word there was a delay until 7AM. As 7AM edged closer the flight was delayed further to 8AM and as it got to the time to board we were told the flight was Delayed I definitely.

We were told that the plane is in the hangar being repaired. It's ho estly disappointing that Lift Airlines could not have told us that the flight will be delayed indefinitely from the first delay as the plane is being repaired. Imagine trying to rush a repair (instead of arranging another plane) to meet clearly unrealistic deadlines. Also imagine if the repair were to be done wrong to to the rushed nature and we as passengers flying in a plane that shouldn't be in the air.

I understand that planes require repair and maintenance and these can cause delays, that I can accept. But to be constantly told your flight is being delayed, then being told your flight is delayed indefinitely and that it is being repaired to meet the flight, rather than getting a plane they know is in working order to get us flying does not instill confidence in their services.

Very disappointed. I would have appreciated that they told us the plane is being repaired and the flight is delayed indefinitely from the get go, rather than give us hope the plane will take off at a certain time and it doesn't.
