Use students for promotions but do not pay them

My daughter a student was ask to assist Lifestyle 24 & Limelight with a fundraising event Rusty fundraiser & SA Car Clubs 50/50. Students does this type of work to earn money as they are students and have to pay for there tuition and have some pocket money.<br> Lifestyle 24 used these students - without paying them one cent, they also had to travel and practice for weeks on their own expense. Some travelled very far, the were promised petrol money and at first R900, then nothing while they were practicing and then R500.00 but yet got nothing - this is mean and in human. How do people/ companies like this get away with this????<br> They were very quick to brag that this event was a major success and that the turnover on the night that was collected was over R100 000.00. Upon requesting why these students were not paid - a very long political explanation was given of ***** and *****ing - hence no mention of how these kids will be paid was made. On the day of the event Carlo treated the students like dogs. Telling them how bad they are and that their standard are not up to scratch. This is demotivating. With this you could straight away pick up - this person is not human big ??????
