********ly listed on ITC

Good Day. I just had a look at my ITC report and noticed that I have been listed with a default. I called the company that has listed me and asked them what they have listed me for and I was told because I entered my details on their website I have to pay them even though they didn't provide me with any services or credit this is what I was told by one of the companies agents. The spoke about some legal protection plan which I have no knowledge about and that the plan was for 12months when I told the agent that I never signed any contract with the company she started speaking while I'm speaking I then decided to hang up from the call and said that ill be contacting the ombudsman regarding this matter.
