Lost money

I've made a laybye in January 2018 at Lifestyle furnitures in Atteridgeville come end February went to pay balance and get my goods they told me that they dont have enough stock from their warehouse i must come back after a month only to find out today that they have closed when i called manager told me that he's no longer working there i must contact wonderpark branch called their number there was no answer called that guy again gave me one of his coleagues cell number called that guy told same story that he's no longer with company gave me landline number only to find out that company is under liquidation without notification so not I've lost R4000 for nothing.
