THe sad tale of Ferdi van der Linden
I saw the advert for Lifebelt in the Google pages right underneath the Lifebelt one in America. This other one was in Capetown, so why would I order from USA when there was another supplier right here. Well now I know! The one here operated by someone called Ferdi Van der Linde is an absolute *****. I ordered a lifebelt and he was right on the phone the next day...wow this is customer service I thought. I must pay him the amount due which was R1,150 and he would send the order through to his seamstresses and I ought to have the item in 7-10 days. Fait accpmpli when the time hed promised had elapsed I called him....oh Sorry he said his seamstress hadnt sent my item back to him so he apologised. after another few days I called again, this time his father was ill and he was at hospital with him continually, Once again I let a week or two elapse and called again, this time it was the Durban docks. I knew by this time that I was never going to get my lifebelt form him so I asked for a refund, sent banking details and asked to be refunded.... and that was the end> He doesnt answer his phone, even altho Ive tried with various other peoples phones. THis man is an absolute con artist and ought to be put away for this. A *****th lifebelt is an item that a person with a stoma gets to be a little more comfy with their predicament. ....its not a pair of sunglasses, its not an Alice band ir a piece of trashy jewellery, its something a person who has had a massive operation buys to try and make ourselves a little more comfy. When youre at a low ebb and this happens........need I say more
