Liebherr does not carry parts for old machines

I have owned a Liebherr wine cooler for about 14 years, I bought it because I was told it was a premium brand. The fridge made a loud explosion noise one day and stopped working so I called in the the technicians from Liebherr Africa. The bottom line is there is nothing they can do to assist me, the circuit board blew and the company does not make the part any longer. (In fairness I must add that the technician was a wonderful competent person)

This is not a premium brand, it lasts 14 years then you must throw it away. I'm very disappointed considering how much I spent and would like to warn others to not purchase this product, they don't retain spares to service old machines. I suspect they think they will force us to buy another new machine when the older one breaks. Rather spend half the price and get a reliable and bigger brand.
