Lieb service centre experience

Extremely poor service.

I had to take my car back multiple times and was expected to accept a jippo job. I was charged R4000 to replace a R1500 timing chain while the engine was open for a head job already, which was billed at an additional R10,000. (You can decide if that's a fair price). I requested the hydraulic lifters be replaced while the engine was open. The shop owner decided to diagnose and replace only 4 of the lifters. As a result the car still has a lifter ticking noise on start up. I contacted the shop to notify them of the issue and requested it be resolved and they asked if I would like a quote. I advised that I'm happy to pay for parts but not labour again as the job was not done correctly the first time. The owner acknowledged they made a mistake and basically said I must f*@# off and can do it myself and blocked my number.

This shop is run by an extremely aggressive and arrogant man. I don't recommend using them.
