BAD SERVICE!

Made a booking for my 40th birthday celebration and everything was paid and confirmed. I was so disappointed with the treatment we got on the day of my function.

My birthday celebration was almost cancelled because of the security guard who was instructed to stop us while we were preparing to set up the bar.

He told us to stop packing in the alcohol in the fridge because the owner told him so. This delayed us for two hours while we were trying to negotiate with the security guard.

The first question I asked whilst enquiring about their venue was "do you allow alcohol at your premises"? The response was "YES". We can bring our own because they don't sell alcohol. I once attended a birthday party at Lido Hotel and alcohol was there. So I didn't understand why would they change their rules on the day of the function. The receptionist and manager told us its out their hands because the instruction came from the owner.

I would have never booked their venue if I knew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
