⚠️ **** Alert: “Licia Kitties Home” I would like to raise awareness about a website operating under the name Licia Kitties Home, which claims to specialize in selling special breeds of kittens. The website appears professional and legitimate. They present an elderly individual, “Steven Shatzky Michael,” as the seller, and the ID number and banking details provided match the name given. Before purchase, they request a written motivation explaining why you are suitable to adopt the kitten. Once payment is made (approximately R6,000 for the kitten), they send what appears to be a legitimate waybill from a courier company called Perial Logistics, including detailed information about the kitten and a scheduled delivery time. Shortly thereafter, the so-called logistics company contacts you to say they cannot transport the kitten without a “thermal electronic crate” and demand a fully refundable deposit of R14,999. They claim this amount will be refunded upon delivery of the kitten. At this stage, a man (reportedly Nigerian) contacts you, posing as a representative of the logistics company, and threatens that the kitten will not be delivered unless the R15,000 is paid. By this point, victims have already paid for the kitten and are pressured to transfer more money. If you refuse or question the demand, they block all communication. This is a classic advance-fee **** designed to extract additional funds after the initial payment. Please be vigilant: Do not purchase pets from unverified online sellers. Be cautious of “refundable deposits” requested by courier companies. Verify logistics companies independently.
