Vanderbijlpark Licence Department *** SERVICE

I did a walk in on January 2024 at the licence department in Vanderbijlpark in the Vaal. Went there to renew my licence, I didn’t know that I would have to book an appointment online first, so they gave me a link & told me to come on that date. I went and made an appointment that was first available which was in March during the day. When I got there an hour early hoping to get an eye test done. I didn’t even make it inside, the door was closed till some guy opened and said, the system is slow I should come tomorrow, then I said no because my appointment is “today”, and he just shoved a green form in my hand and said come in the morning and bring an eye test certification, I told him I was going to do my eye test with them and he says their testing machines have been ******. So I’m standing there dumbfounded cause they don’t do walk ins and now I’m expected to just walk in the next day. This kind of service is so disappointing and I left there ****ed off cause there was a line of people inside. I mean what is the use of booking an appointment online if you won’t receive any services for it? How come was it filled with so many people inside when a certain time is allocated for your booking? How many day offs does one need? Who’s covering my traveling costs only to make a turn by the door every time? I’m soooo ****ed off!!! I mean they could’ve told me the first time I went that I needed to go to a optometrist and get a eye test certificate. WHAT IS THE USE OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE IF IT WONT BE RESPECTED? OUR TIME IS NOT RESPECTED. If you’re anywhere in the surrounding areas don’t go to the licence department in vanderbijlpark. The guy who was standing at the door his attitude was even disgusting. I don’t know who to complain to about cause I tried calling the numbers on their website and none of them went through I even tried the numbers of other licence departments in the Vaal. BAD SYSTEM, BAD SERVICES, BAD ATITUDES!!! SIESS!!!
