Trying to find out whether our renewed driver's licenses are ready to be collected.

In January 2019 my husband and I went to the Bedfordview Licensing Department to renew our driver's licenses. After going through the process we were told to come back in about 6 months. We've been trying to find out from the Licensing Department since June whether our licenses are ready, but to no avail. The telephone number never gets answered and the sms number never gets rep**** to. Where to from here? This is very frustrating. It's been almost 9 months now.
