TRAFFIC DEPT BOOKING SYSTEM IS USELESS!!!!!

I have been trying to make a booking to renew my drivers licence card but there is never any slots available. No matter what time of day or night you try. No option to select a future date either. Impossible that there are no slots available for the rest of the year. I tried calling the number given and it goes onto a recording to wait in a queue but never gets answered. If it is not working, have a recording that says it is out of order. If you your staff are not competent, there are plenty of unemployed people who would be more than willing to answer your phones or emails. I tried emailing too. No response. But when the traffic cops check everyone's licences, do you really think they will take it as an excuse that there traffic dept does not have a working system. Why can one not go in, make a booking, even if its in advance and pay same time. In fact, for licence renewal, why can a person not go in, fill in the forms, bring in an eye test certificate from optometrist, pay and get it over. There would be no other staff involved besides the cashier. Very Frustrating! And you wonder why this country is in the state it is!
