SCOTTBURGH LICENSING OFFICE❗️ STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE❗️ EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING 18 AUGUST 2026 The Service at Scottburgh Licensing Office today was absolutely unacceptable. The office was apparently closed due to a strike, yet there was NO notice posted anywhere informing the public. People are travelling from far away, spending money on fuel and taking time off work, only to arrive and find the doors closed. If an office is going to be closed due to a strike or any other reason, the public should be properly notified in advance and there should at least be a clear notice on the doors explaining the situation. This is extremely disrespectful to members of the public who make the effort to travel long distances to use these services. Scottburgh Licensing Office needs to do better when it comes to communicating with the public. People deserve proper notice and basic consideration for their time and money.
