KEMPTON PARK LICENCING DEPARTMENT - TERRIBLE SERVICE!

I would like to share how horrified I was with the service received at the Licencing Department in Kempton Park when I went to renew my licence card. Absolutely terrible terrible service. All the staff there (male dominated) were extremely unprofessional. There was no proper system in place. People were all over the place and when approaching any of the staff, they were totally unfriendly and unapproachable. They have no regard for us tax payers and the pathetic service they offered. I followed the queue from outside from 9am until 12pm, until I reached the queue on the inside to follow the eye test department. Even though I had an eye test certificate, I had to sit a further 1 hour 45 minutes in the queue and was told this is the process. There were 5 testing stations, with equipment at the front of the centre but only one staff member was seated at one work station --making only one station in working order. Then from there, another long queue to make payment, where only one cashier was working, whereby there were 3 cashing stations. When asked, the response was -- 'they on lunch'. Then there would be a second person at till but for a very short time, then close the window. I have never in my life experience such terrible service. Then there is a counter for collections but this window is closed permanently -- with papers stuck all over. The male staff that was issueing card to the card collecters, would go outside and shout out name -- with such a stubborn, unfriendly face. Apart from the service from the staff, everything is laid back...no care in the world. Oh my word and the actual appearance of the building --- filthy, dirty, stinky. There's an information desk, absolutely filthy --brown dirty marks all over. All the counter glass, untidy, dirty notices stuck all over. Even the windows have dirty paper and plastic stuck on the window to avoid the sun from coming in. I have been to other municipal offices before, but never in my life have I experience such unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for us as tax payers. Terrible, terrible, terrible. What a shame --- Kempton Park Licencing office.
