Drivers license renewal wait for more then 6 months

Good day. I renewed my drivers license on the 6th of June 2021 at Krugersdorp station, the only station I could get an appointment. When I received my temporary licence the lady told me your card will be ready for collection within 6-8 weeks. So I waited patiently and drove back to the licensing department 9 weeks after I have renewed my licence, giving them little bit of extra time. Since then I have been to the department twice, I have checked on card query, my temporary licence has already expired and my card status is “card in production” for 6 months already. Never use Krugersdorp station for any renewals of cards. They say they have several boxes with cards in them but they don’t get the time to unpack the boxes to change the card status to indicate your card is ready for collections. Meanwhile I have to pay an additional fee for a second temporary drivers licence, because the licensing department is slow and negligent. So that’s one way for them to make extra money. Meanwhile my grandmother went to the Roodepoort station renewed her card in October is waited 4 weeks and received her card. The service at Krugersdorp is terrible. And I don’t know what to do anymore? Will I need to reapply, do the whole learners and test again. They are not transparent or helpful, they send you on the way and says “mam please just check the card query website for your card” NEVER GO TO KRUGERSDORP STATION
