Booking system in place not working

Good day

I have been trying to renew my driver's license card since January 2021 and was told to use the booking system. This system has no dates for any DLD Region available to date. I got word that everyone is to renew their cards by end August 2021.

How is this possible if the system fails us? The current system is NOT WORKING!!!! Does this mean that I will be fined for none compliance even if the system is not working and I can't get a booking? I am a single mother and the breadwinner and not able to take leave and go the the Departments and wait until whoever gives me a chance even when they don't assist without a booking....

This is a huge struggle and I hope someone somewhere can relate and will be able to assist those of us who are in the same predicament.
