Bedfordview License Department

Today I had the unpleasant experience of renewing my licenses with a very rude Mr Mokgwatjane at the Bedfordview License Department. What a joke!

I renewed 2 vehicles, the first vehicle’s total amount increased by 17% from last year. The second vehicle’s cost increased by 67%.

When I queried why the outrageous increase Mr. Mokgwatjane said, “Don’t you know that prices increase?” I agreed, but would like to know how it it possible to increase so much? He refused to explain the price build-up, or for what reasons the amount has increased so substantially and very rudely stated: “You came here to pay, so pay.” I commented that it is no wonder that the Bedfordview branch get such a bad rap on social media and I requested to get the forms back so that I can rather go to another branch. Mr Mokgwatjane lost it and started screaming: “I will block you on the system! I will block you on the system!” Petrified of ending up with endless problems being blocked on the system and without vehicle licences, I felt forced to pay just to get my documents back.

Besides the horrible service and attitude received, can somebody from Bedfordview License Department please contact me and clarify the outrageous amounts charged?
