Arrogant, biased and ********* staff and practices at New Ottery Driving Licence Testing Department

The New Ottery DLTC has without a doubt astounded me with their level of disregard for the people of the communities TIME, MONEY, SANITY and Human Rights. They are unhelpful from the get go. They request proof of address but will not help you out when you ask if you can email it to them to be printed. You receive a BLATANT NO! Upon leaving the facility to head to the nearest internet cafe, you return only to find the queue is now even longer and you need to queue at the back again! To make matters worse, there is only 1 person at the reception desk to assist. When you finally reach the next step in the dreaded process, you are confronted with the eye examiner who now has to take a awfully long tea break and eventually returns with a not so happy look on her face. She is clearly irritated by your presence. Where is the passion in doing your work??? Booking your test date... excited much? sure, until your inattentive cashier gets your requested time wrong and leaves you out of pocket and a failed attempt at attaining your licence before even getting behind the wheel! Lets give it another go.... booking a whole new appointment with the same dreaded procedure. Test day finally arrives, I've got this! Today is THE DAY! Finally getting my licence. I get behind the wheel of the car, do my observations and I'm ready to proceed, traffic cop car overtakes me out of nowhere. Examiner next to me pulls up the handbrake and says "you created a dangerous action, please make a new appointment" ***??? Because the money falls from the sky right??? Never mind that the traffic cop car was speeding in a 10km/h zone, nor that he never signalled his intention to overtake, never kept a safe following distance, never kept as far left to the road as possible. How many traffic laws was broken by the very individuals who are meant to enforce the laws of the road that are to keep us safe?!?!?!

Truly disgusted at the few individuals that give this place a stinking reputation and the individuals in power, what are you doing to right these wrongs?

No wonder we have so many ******* drivers on the roads and individuals buying their licence.

Step Up! Do your job with pride! BE FAIR! Lose the attitude. You are NOT above the law!
