Withholding Provident fund , due to Alleged Allegations and no response to these allegations

My previous employer had used Liberty as the holder for my provident fund. and i have resigned on the 15th of December 2021, and my last working day was the 31st of January 2022 and to date I still have not received my funds.

Instead I was told that the my previous employer had told them there is a pending ******** case against me. in light of these serous allegations, I then proceeded to enquire about this, asking them to provide me with evidence or a case number from SAPS as I have not been notified of any such. Concerned about this I even proceeded to go to the nearest Police station to enquire about any opened cases against myself or court orders. No such have been found.

I pleaded my case with Liberty and it has been more than a month now since I have had any response from them. This is unacceptable as the money saved in the fund was planned for the use of investing in my newly started business , and them withholding it from me has had a serious impact on me and my business, and now at risk of losing everything I had worked for.

If this is what Liberty stands for, Preventing young entrepreneurs and small business owners from growth and success , accusing me with such serious allegations impacting my life and also my pubic image. I would not recommend this fund to anyone.
