VERY POOR SERVICE - CAPITAL ALLIANCE
I have been trying to claim for my waiver option from Capital Alliance since 18 January 2022. This was done through my PSG Claims department. Initially I was informed that my claim went through as a death benefit and they were looking for my death certificate. After this was rectified and the claim re-issued to Capital Alliance it was rejected due to the fact that the last 3 months of my work was under contract. I phoned the Team Leader of Disability Payments (Sibusiso Dlalisa and explained that the contract was put in place as a trial period for the job - this was also stipulated in the contract with the employer who I worked for. Prior to that I also worked at another company for 6 months. He requested that I resend my information and the proof of previous employment as well. This was already done about one month ago. To date, I have not received any feedback or answers regarding my claim. I am unemployed and am desperately in need of the waiver option to cover my insurance premium monthly. It has already taken 4 months and I am falling behind on other payments because of the delay experienced with the claim. This is totally unacceptable. I have been paying insurance premium for waiver for a very long time. I tried to phone the Team Leader, Sibusiso and left 2 messages for him to contact me, but I get absolutely no response. I can not help to think that this is just a delay tactic.
