Very Poor Service and Lack of Communication – Liberty Group SA

I submitted my application to Liberty Group SA in October 2025, and to date I have received no payout. Since submitting the application, I have been asked on numerous occasions to “complete this” and “submit that”, with new requirements added each time. Only after multiple follow-ups was I eventually advised that the payout would be made within 15 days. After that first 15‑day period passed, I was informed that additional information was still missing — something that was only communicated after the waiting period had already expired. Once Liberty confirmed that all information was now correct, I was told to wait another 15 days. After the second 15‑day period, I then received a text message on Friday 17.04.2026 stating that the application was still incorrect (This after confirming on Tuesday 14.06.2026 that everything was inorder). Out of frustration, I visited the Liberty office at Mitchell’s Plain Promenade, where the staff tried to assist by calling the call centre. Unfortunately, this led nowhere. The call centre agent, Lerato, advised that she could not get hold of any management at all. We were told management was working from home, and then the call was dropped. We later managed to get through to Francis Zaida, only to be told that her PC was offline. That was this morning. It is now after 4pm, and there has been no follow‑up or feedback whatsoever. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. There is a complete lack of communication, accountability, and urgency. During such difficult times, one would expect support and assistance — not constant delays and shifting requirements. Unfortunately, Liberty Group SA has shown that client service is not a priority. I am still waiting for proper feedback and for this matter to be resolved.

Liberty should invest in proper staff training. When no work is done and no accountability exists, clients are the ones who suffer — with no pay and no answers
