Unpaid death claim lies for months without attention
Liberty underpaid a death claim on a valid death group life scheme. Escalation and dispute emails have gone unanswered. My email dated 05/04/2022 in response to the communication from Liberty Life ***), as well as further writings to Liberty Life has gone unanswered since. I have submitted the necessary schedule and information relating to the dispute on this claim, but no response has been received.

15 Jun 2023, 13:39Today is 15 June 2023 and Liberty Life has still not come to the party - 20 months later. Luckily the Financial Sector Conduct Authority has reviewed, supported and referred the unfair treatment to the FAIS Ombud for finalisation yesterday. I look forward to Liberty Life receiving a well deserved lashing regarding their unfair treatment of their clients in times of need. Liberty Life took thousands of rands from our organisation towards a group life scheme and in the single and solitary event, they failed to hold up their end of the agreement. Thank you FAIS Ombud for helping the individuals that are losing to conglomerates like Liberty every single day, because we get bul**** into red tape and treated like a number.
