Unaccountably at Liberty for their incompetence

Liberty Life has a well-organized system of non-accountability and employs a bunch of low IQ personnel to communicate with the public.

Liberty Life conveniently avoids payments by claiming third party non-compliance.

In my case, Liberty sent an email stating clearly that they app**** for a Tax Directive from SARS, and only then will they be able to pay me out my retirement annuity. I have been waiting for six weeks, for something that should have been completed in 30 days from start to finish.

Liberty Life falsely claims that they submitted my Tax Directive on the 12th of August to SARS. After 6 weeks, I checked with SARS and was told that if they app**** on 12 August I would have gotten a response within 48 hours if done electronically and 21 days if done manually. However, SARS checked today when I called them gave my details, and explained the situation. No such application was made by Liberty Life for a tax directive for my account. I asked Liberty Life to substantiate their claim of making an application for my Tax Directive by showing me the application confirmation by SARS. The lady Ms. Buhle, stated that the Purchase department cannot locate the tax directive application confirmation.

Hence my allegation that Liberty Life is pretty ******* when it comes to payments and can come up with pretty good ways of avoiding accountability and holding our policy payouts at ransom.

I would not recommend anybody to engage with any type of business with this company as they are quick to take money from you but when they have to pay you, the chances of getting your money is unlikely and if you do get your money it will only happen if you make a big enough noise or if in the rare opportunity you happen to be in contact with somebody working at liberty that actually has a functional brain and that can understand English when spoken to.

Really disappointing and frustrating working with Liberty.

I sincerely hope that somebody at liberty reads these posts and tries to account for the incompetence.
