They take your money, give you nothing back

I trusted Liberty Group SA with my hard-earned money during my training year, clearly disclosing my intention to withdraw it the following year. Instead of respecting my choice, they unilaterally placed me on a so-called “savings plan” that effectively swallowed R10,000 of my funds.

I received zero benefit from this arrangement — only the unpleasant experience of watching my money vanish while being trapped in a plan I never truly agreed to.

The name “Liberty” feels ironic they seem to have the liberty to mishandle customers’ funds without facing consequences. I expected professionalism, transparency, and respect for my stated intentions. What I got instead was the opposite.

If you value your money and peace of mind, think very carefully before entrusting them with either.
