Sharing private information with unauthorised individuals

In January this year, we brought to your attention the fact that my mother was receiving communication from Liberty relating to a policy with her name, postal and home address, ID etc on. However, she wasn't receiving the quarterly payments or paying the annual premiums. The information we were sent as to the life insured on the policy, was for a gentleman we had never heard of (already deceased), and whose details we could not verify. After EIGHT months of constantly requesting information from Liberty (I still have the email threads) we were told in August that the policy did not belong to my mother, and that there had been an administrative error. Lo & behold, she just received another letter with 'policy information' that lists her as the policy holder. So, that being the case, we'd like to claim the money. I am extremely worried that your administration is so utterly pathetic. I also hold two policies with Liberty - who are you sharing MY information with?? I don't think it's worthwhile writing to *** any more. Numerous emails have clearly not led to an investigation OR a correction. Best to send the complaint to your auditors then, I suppose? Or we'll just change the banking details on the form you keep sending us, claim the money and then, if we're not the policy holders, we can see how long it takes you to recover the money (and issue an apology)? Seriously, Liberty, it's been a year. When are you going to properly investigate and FIX this?
