They call themselves Liberty Loan and claim they have been in business for 10 years assisting people to get loans. This is how they work: You enquire about the loan, they send you an application form to complete they then ask for the following docs ID copy and 3 months bank statement. After completing the form you will send all the requested docs to the consultant. You will then receive an letter of approval which needs to be signed and you will have to pay an amount of 1499.50 (admin fees as they state). From there you will be referred to someone else who will send a Power of attorney with another payment request of 3800. When you think they done they ask for more money claiming its transfer fees of 4900 then you get a proof of payment it looks legit but its not. There after they want another 4200 to activate the fees all these fees are not disclosed prior. Honestly if you are desperate you will fall for this please don't. They claim their offices are based in 171 Katherine Street, Sandown, Sandton, Johannesburg. When you get there the security guard knows nothing about them. They use these names Philip, Collins Morgan, Susan. When you ask for a refund because you do not have the activation fees they decline and tell you about cancellation fees. These are their numbers ********** , ********** , ********** 192 and ********** 377. Be careful please desperation can rip you off.
