refunds from liberty

Hi. I opened a liberty account,and the next day i cancelled it immediately after i saw my friend incident with liberty..On month end i see they deducted the policy..i phoned them for my money on the 25th august and im still waiting for my money..i keep on getting different stories..and im tired now..My question is why did they continue with the policy if i phoned them just the next day after opening it. Now i struggle to get my refund.
