Provident Fund Payout
I Dudley Coetzee ID number *** resigned from my company on the 31st of December 2015 on my return back to work on the 7th January I filled in my forms for to be submitted to the Broker they waited for my last payment at end January. my forms was submitted to liberty on the 3rd of February. up to today I received no payment. I contacted liberty on the 2nd of March and they told me they were waiting for 2 things 1 was the reason why I left and the second was the confirmation of last payment received and I will now get my payment by the 18th of March. Which is unacceptable as it takes 14 to 21 days for a provident fund payment to be paid out. Between the Broker and the Liberty they prolong the process as much as they can, because my HR department submitted everything in time, and they feel they can delay the process. When I spoke to Liberty they say they only received confirmation from the broker for the payment at the end of Feb. which we paid at the end of January. I really don't believe the client should suffer because of liberty's reluctant to follow up. The client don't really matter to them. Make me want to reconsider our other policies with Liberty
