Policy details
Good afternoon
After no joy from Liberty, I'm forced to come here. I received my Astute portfolio on Friday. There was a policy with my details. I queried about this policy since i did not have any documents due to a break in and being ransacked. Mind you we do have policies with Liberty. Anyway on Tuesday morning i phoned in to receive a copy of this policy and my email address did not match so i gave them my correct email. My cell number was correct. Obviously since this policy was taken out in 2003 and we moved houses in 2004, i updated my address as well.
After receiving my policy document and an email to confirm change of address and email, i noticed an address and email that i could not identify.
I called Liberty again and they said its my policy. They could not pick up the strange email add and residential add. They verified my details and i it's my policy. All well and good since we did have a policy with Liberty. Still being a bit uneasy i sent them a message on Facebook to please assist and i made mention something is not adding up and i require help. I received a reply that i will be contacted shortly. Now the best part, last Friday i chose to surrender the policy as well. Filled in the forms and attached required documents. Today i emailed them to say i want to hold on with the surrender as I need to see if this is really my policy. No reply. I'm a bit frustrated what if the policies got swopped and i have another persons policy and he/she has mine. This is not something to play around with. If it's mine, all well and good. But unfortunately I'm not getting any help. Please assist.
