Payment of Policy since October 2024

Letter to Liberty Complaint.. Dear Management I am writing this letter with deep frustration and serious concern regarding the ongoing delay in the payment of my pension. I, Mr. Michael Jacob Riekert (ID: ***, Membership Number: M232217C), am 61 years old and currently without any income as my pension payments have been ********ly withheld since October 2024 without any valid explanation. Despite numerous attempts to engage with your customer service representatives—including on 04/12/2024, 17/01/2025, and 18/02/2025—and despite having submitted all required documents multiple times, I have received no response or resolution. Instead, I have been given vague assurances that the funds would be disbursed on a Friday or Monday, none of which have materialized. Furthermore, your office continues to send correspondence to my former employer, Mentor Freight Services, despite my repeated requests to have all communication directed to my personal email, ***. I have had no engagement with my former employer regarding this matter, nor should it be my responsibility to facilitate communication between them and my pension fund. I expect my pension fund to deal directly with me as the rightful beneficiary. I have spoken to multiple customer service representatives, including Charles, Lerato, Kamohlo (twice), and Lubishu Ntsko, yet none have been able to provide a resolution to my case. My pension—funds which I have diligently contributed to throughout my working life—is being ********ly withheld without any clear justification.

This continued delay has placed me in serious financial distress, and it is wholly unacceptable that I am forced to plead for money that is rightfully mine. Should this matter not be immediately resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate it further, including lodging a formal complaint with Hello Peter, the media, and seeking legal recourse. I hereby demand a clear and immediate response to the following: 1. Why has my pension not been paid since October 2024? 2. What is causing the delay, and who is responsible for it? 3. When will I receive the full outstanding amount owed to me? I expect a written response within 7 days from the date of this letter. Failure to provide a satisfactory resolution within this timeframe will leave me with no alternative but to pursue legal action against the responsible parties. I trust that this matter will now receive the urgent attention it deserves.
