Pathetic service

Due to covid I have been unemployed since April 2020. With no income and 3 small children to raise I have been forced to cash in my provident fund which was taken out through Liberty Life. Initially the process was moving smoothly and as advised by the claims department I was expecting my payout within 30 working days. When this date came and went I emailed them asking when the money would be available only to be told that they could not process the claim without a letter of authority from the court..... I then phoned their call centre and a very helpful lady told me that all I needed was an affidavit from a police station stating that I was employed by the company who initially took out the provident fund for its employees. I did this. Scanned and emailed it through, assuming that now all was in order. BUT NO! Late last night I received an email from liberty stating that I would need to go to the courts with my benefit statement in order for them to issue me a benefits statement! ***???? A word of advice to anyone thinking of investing with Liberty Life.....DONT! It is no suprise that they carry a 1.5 star rating! Disgusting!
