No refund from Liberty life

In 2021 I insured my uncle with liberty, early 2022 he passed away and because the policy was not yet matured, I requested a refund of the premiums and cancelation of the policy. I was assured that I will be refunded, this never happened and the liberty kept deducting from my salary advice, in September I again sent an email with the requested documents. I haven't been paid, they deducted again in October, and keep sending me an email about not being able to pay if the deceased was insured whilst dead.
