No Answer to Queries posted on Liberty Life Website

I do not understand why such large corporation have a queries contact page on their websites that apparently nobody bothers to read or reply. We had a simple query (having not found how to access what we wanted on the account login site) and that was how do we check our historical value of Retirement Annuity Non Life portfolio value. Ten days later we are still waiting for a response.

Thank you Sizwe for your prompt reply and phone follow ups. I still find it hard to believe that, as a client, I am unable (after logging into my secure account) to see some historical value of my portfolio. I trust this requirement will soon be addressed and rectified by Liberty Life.

Please note that I am still awaiting the promised email after discussing this issue with your IT department whereby I can then revert with the other policy numbers that I need a statement going back at least 6 months for each policy. Why this cannot be displayed by Liberty on the secure client login site is beyond my comprehension.

Dear Marilize Jooste, Thank you for your response to our complaint however we do feel it is somewhat presumptuous of Liberty, just to assume that their clients do not need historical values, based on Liberties statement “and the fact that requests such as these are minimal” and “Historical Values bear no relevance to current benefits payable” Have Liberty ever given some thought to the fact that because their customers cannot access the historical data of their policies on line, this is the reason why “Request are minimal” The reasons we wish to be able to see this information is not to have to wait one year when you send out your letters and only then compare the performance of the portfolio. Sadly your reply smacks of how some large corporations are totally out of touch with what their clients require and prefer to give them what Liberty “thinks” they want and not what they want. Also please note that I am still awaiting a response to my posting on this site of 5 days ago, whereby I am awaiting an email so that I can advise Liberty regarding the other policies that I need historical data for.
