LITERALLY THE WORST COMPANY EVER

On the 6th of June, after speaking to my "financial advisor" telling him im going to cancel my retirement annuity go go with a different company, i formally sent a letter of cancellation.

He then continued to call me a traitor and im no longer his client, and refuse to assist with the cancellation process.

He then rep**** 20 days later saying he will send the necessary documents for me to complete and then im no longer his client and he is done.

I then contacted Liberty directly to sort this matter out and logged a formal complaint. The "financial advisor" then rep**** to say that he will issue a document to transfer the funds even though i said that it should be paid out.

Fast forward 40 days later, the call centre agents are saying that the money was released but on email they didnt release the funds, when calling in, they say the funds were released today and i should wait a further 48 hours, and theres nothing they can do about the situation.

Its been 7 days and noone responded to my complaint about the advisor

Hi Elroy,

Thanks for your response. There has been two responses on my initial complaint (reference Reference Number [***] & Reference Number [***])

however, you'll be able to see that its been 7 days, with no contact or anyone addressing the issue. Its been 44 days in total since i cancelled yet today im being told the funds has been released and will take an additional 48 hours, after being told yesterday it was released at 12, after being told last week it was done, after being told the week before it will take 2 days. So who are you supposed to listen to in the company?

Im sick and tired of waiting for feedback or i should be the 1 to follow up on the process of my request made. And then to be told by the financial advisor that im a traitor for leaving? when i made it clear that im not seeing any value in what im paying for, so financially how are we as consumers supposed to trust the judgement from the advisors if they not giving solid advice?
