LIBERTY ********LY CANCELS RETIREMENT ANNUITY

I recently contacted Liberty to obtain my tax certificate for the past tax year. I was then informed that my retirement annuity was made paid up. After some investigation it was found that this was due to a glitch with Liberty's IT system as confirmed by Amith Singh. Thereafter, the service that I received was non-existent. Amith made no proper attempt to contact me except for one voice message, the contents of which were not adhered to. Amith further refused to take or return any of my calls. Liberty's actions are in complete contravention of their duties as a financial service provider and is a breach of our agreement. This has resulted in severe prejudice to myself as penalties were imposed on my policy due to no fault of my own, months of premiums are now outstanding and I have lost interest that could have been earned. Liberty remains unapologetic and positional in respect thereof which speaks volumes about their level of ethics. I no longer have any trust in Liberty and aside from referring this dispute to the ombudsman and lodging a complaint with the FSB, I am considering suing them for damages.
