Liberty Turn Around Times for claims is too slow. Almost a full month?

I did not know how painful it would be to deal with Liberty Life until now. I kid you not when there is an amount outstanding you will get many calls but when you enquire via email the turn around times are SOO poor. It's shocking really. Here's a breakdown of the poor around times.

1. I sent an email on the 6th of July see screenshot (https://snipboard.io/AK3aW7.jpg) 2. I only got an automated responce from them on the 14th of July, mind you this responce is an acknowledgment of receiving my email address, see screenshot(https://snipboard.io/FzXpYL.jpg).

It took a full week to acknowledge receiving my email. A FULL WEEK JUST TO GET A BOUNCE BACK CONFIRMING THAT MY EMAIL HAS BEEN RECEIVED? Under normal circumstances bounce backs with ticket ID's are immediate but not with Liberty. It's now the end of business day of the 19th of July so I know I won't get feedback today. So we looking at tomorrow or Friday if I am lucky and also this is if I am lucky, this could go on until next week.

I am disappointed with the level of service received. I equally disappointed with my financial advisor AJ from Wallstreet Financial services for bringing me to liberty. This is not the type of service I was expecting to receive. Mind you I have not even touched on the rejected claim, this is purely on service delivery and how long it takes to get anything out of liberty life.

I will be writing another review tomorrow confirming that no feedback was received from Liberty and I will be doing so daily until they reply to me. I would not be surprised if this is not attended too this week and they see it in 14 days time.

I know for sure I will stop being a client after all this. I will also distance myself from the service of Wallstreet Financial Services.

Reviewer Update
Here’s my pending review of your company services. I’m just waiting for HelloPeter to allow. In the meantime i will post this on facebook and Twitter.

I was wrong. Liberty is worse than i thought. I though the ETA for queries to claims took too long but they’ve now confirmed it.

I emailed them on the 6 of July regarding my initial query. It’s now the 22nd. Thanks to my Hellopeter post earlier this week, i got feedback confirming that they will reply to me in 15 business days(https://snipboard.io/wE1vip.jpg). So it literally takes liberty a month and a half to reply to claims.

After my experience i decided to go see their google reviews and see if i was the only one who experienced such. Lets just say things are bad! Had i not blindly trust my financial advisor(Wallstreet Financial Services) i would not have been in this mess. Here are some of the reviews on google:

  1. https://snipboard.io/G5CAjd.jpg overall rating for their head office is 1.8 with 25 people rating the company 1.
  2. https://snipboard.io/CqoX6g.jpg A case similar to mine where a client is detailing their poor experience.
  3. https://snipboard.io/hbRMJT.jpg sadly at a time of need is when you engage insurance companies and unfortunately Liberty just compounds your issues. They do not help at all. Luckily i’m resilient and know that for you to get anything in S.A you have to fight.
  4. https://snipboard.io/fhsyLj.jpg Another case of poor service.

It’s clear as day that Liberty is not a well run company and their processes are not as they should be. It seems as if they have one assessor in their claims department cause wow this is poor service. I don’t understand how a company can operate like this.

Anyways i’ll be posting frequently for the sake of those who do due diligence and hopefully can save you guys from the pain and suffering that we endured. Learn from our mistakes and READ GOOGLE REVIEWS AND HELLO PETER POSTS. A companies reviews will tell you all you need to know about them. Had i seen that 1 star overall rating i would have stayed away.

I must also add do not blindly trust financial advisors, they have their own interests that they are serving.
