Liberty retrenchment income protector is useless

<p>I cannot recommend that anyone take out Liberty's retrenchment protector. I've been without income for 3, going on 4 months. They have ignored my e-mails to the opsclaims address. They make you register for UIF at the Department of Labour, which means I've spend days in queues now being shoved around with state inefficiency. Now the Department of Labour says there are delays with claims processing on their side so I have to be without income yet another month. This after I spent hundreds of bucks in petrol to get to my nearest labour centre. What use is your policy to me? You guys should be ashamed. You took my premiums when it suited you, but now I'm basically left struggling because you make it nearly impossible to claim and then ignore my enquiries. Simply awful.</p>
