Liberty Retirement Builder

I have a paid up policy with Liberty. According to legislation I can withdraw these funds out if it is under R15k, 2 weeks ago I call in and I am told its R16500 so I can't surrender or whatever.

I call back saying that I want to transfer it to my current provident fund and was told its now sitting at under R15k so I can withdraw it.

I get the forms and complete them, and now i get an email saying its just over R15k, so according to the act blaa blaa blaa they can't give it.

This is putrid nonsense, looking for an excuse now to not give it, I'd love to know why
