Liberty Retirement Annuity ****
Liberty has no regard whatsoever for it's clients and they are misleading. They consistently keep resending the same emails and not being clear and responsive. We were told to make a claim and had to wait 15 working days for a pay out. But it has been over 2 years and they still say the same thing. Even when they responded here it didn't even take us anywhere because they just kept saying the same thing over and over again. Imagine kids with no parents and still in varsity waiting 2 years for a claim that could help them out but no liberty just keeps ****ming.

04 Dec 2024, 11:12So what is being said here is that Liberty is saying that my brother and I are expected to be okay with suffering, no parents, no money, no jobs and worst of it all still in Varsity? Literally when my mom passed my dad took care of us solely and when he passed he left policies such as the Retirement Annuity so that we could be taken care of even when he's gone. And unfortunately like the many companies we have faced since his passing, Liberty is also becoming another one leaving us in the dark. According to the policy any child that claims gets a percentage according to the Trustees and then they wait for another to claim and the process continues. It is unfortunate that the person who had this policy is no more and he can't fight for us because honestly you have failed him as a customer and also failed us as his beneficiaries and children. Instead of doing the right thing you are here consistently giving us stories and the runaround not considering the fact that the same dependants that you're speaking about solely re**** on him and it is unfair that one has to wait for another that shows no interest in claiming, instead of just giving us what is due to us and keeping the rest for when the supposed other dependants decide to claim.
We will be considering taking other actions should this still be persistent, hopefully this time we will get the justice we so rightfully deserve.
