LIBERTY REFUSING TO HONOUR A NOMINATED BENEFICIARY

My aunt was named beneficiary for a policy left to her by her common law hubby who committed suicide in February last year. I have been in contact with Liberty for a year now and still have not got any joy. His family are trying to contest her getting anything from his estate, although his suicide notes clearly state that she (my aunt) is 100% beneficiary for everything that he owned. The family have failed to prove dependancy and they have been given close to a year to prove this. Surely Liberty can see that they are talking hog wash as they cannot produce any documents of their claim that he supported them. There are 3 sisters, all married and all well off, have their own businesses and homes, etc. so he had no reason to support them. I have power of authority over my aunt's affairs as she is clinical depressive and bipolar. Her common law hubby of +- 10 years also suffered from severe depression, hence the reason he took his own life. She was totally dependant on him for her livelihood. He did not allow her to even have a bank account, she had to depend on him for everything. When he passed away, she was overseas with her daughter who had just given birth and then could not return due to the borders being closed because of COVID. The flat that he owned and they lived in, was hijacked by the family and locked up with changed locks and such, Even her own possesssions they refused to give her, up until now. When he passed and she was not here, the sisters messaged her and promised to help her on her return and sort out everything for her. I think wwhen they saw what the flat was worth and his pension fund, etc. greed reared it's ugly head. They cut her off completely and refused to have any contact with her when she returned. She still has the messages from the sisters, saying how they would help her, but alas, that is not the case. We have been begging LIBERTY to sort her out financially as she does not work, never has worked as he took care of everything. Now she is like a pauper, she lives from family member to family member, begging for help from whomever can help and she now feels like a burden. She is suicidal and attempted suicide last year and had to be rushed to hospital. She is seeking counseling, but that is not helping as her depression is worsening.
