Liberty Provident Fund claim nightmare !

<p>I submitted my provident fund claim on 31st March and was told it would take 4-8 weeks to be processed. About a month in, I decided to get in touch with Liberty just to make sure that they had everything that they needed. I was trying to avoid getting to the point where they pay out was due and having them now decide that they need more information from me. </p> <p>I was directed to Jacques Venter who I started emailing with. At first I was given a time line of 10-15working days as from the beginning of April. That time came and went with no joy. I would email and get no responses and would have to follow up at least twice to get an acknowlegent of receipt. When I finally got a response on 26th May, he told me that my claim was in the bank and tax clearance queue and this process would take 48hrs. We're now into 96 hrs. </p> <p> </p> <p>It it has been a little over 8 weeks since I submitted by claim and all the timelines I was given have turned out to be untrue. I feel like I am asking for Liberty to give me something that belongs to them yet all I need from them is what belongs to me. I know they don't really care that they are dealing with actual human beings - I wouldn't even begin to think that - but their SLA is 8 weeks and that has passed. </p> <p> </p> <p>I want my claim paid out today! I have been patient and now you have literally put my life on hold Liberty for reasons that I can't seem to understand. I don't want to keep dealing with you every waking day of my life. </p>
