Liberty Life Stalling My Surrender
Policy ***. I have asked for a surrender. First my request was ignored and I was offered a portfolio switch. Then when they finally decide to process my surrender I get an email saying my proof of address is less than 3 months. I have sent them a bank statement as proof of address which according to their list of documents is acceptable. The statement I sent is dated May. We are now in July. The proof of address is only 2 months old but they are declining my surrender saying the document is older than 3 months.
Stalling tactics to retain my money for as long as possible.

17 Jul 2019, 09:05Took you 48hrs to get back to me to tell me that my proof of address is outdated which it isnt.... I rep**** saying my proof of address is not outdated and waited 48hrs to get an email to tell me that I must wait 5 days for your to investigate the matter.
Why does it take 5 days to look at a proof of address and determine if its older than 3 months.
It has already been 5 days since I asked for a surrender and now I must wait an extra 5 days
If Tasneem Hendricks had just done my surrender like I asked when she phoned me instead of ignoring me and sending me the option of a portfolio switch against my choice then we would not be here.

Just release my money, it is my money after all I am not asking for a loan.
