Liberty Life ****ming Clients Through False Naming of Products
What a **** this is. After hounding me since 2015, we signed up for annuity, tertiary schooling fund builders and income protectors.
In March this year I went for surgery, and was hospitalized 3 times again afterwards over a period of 6 months.
We have our own business and this had a massive impact on our business. We had to retrench staff, downsize operations and struggled to keep food on the table.
Today, my claim was declined, because I apparently, according to them didn't adhere to the 30 day rule of laying in my bed after surgery. After suckering me out of more installments off course
this after 3 months of paperwork...and they first wanted to blame it on my type 2 diabetes, which since my surgery is under control.
They are experts in not paying...dont sign up with them...your money is safer under your pillow!
Nobody has contacted me yet. To make matters worse, I could not reach anyone since 12H00 on Friday, not even my broker.
Liberty has not only failed me by not keeping their word, but absolutely ruined Christmas for my family, which includes my daughters, aged 5 and 2. On top of that I could not give anything for my staff...
My prayer for 2024 is that everyone who made this possible, get what they deserve in 2024, as it is clear they have no conscience.
My press meetings are scheduled, and I am contacting more media centers today, and will continue to do so. And I know you don't really care, coming from a big corporate myself...but a year from now, I want you to remember this complaint.
I will be contacting Sanlam this morning to move my business across.
