Liberty Life has reneged and not paid out my retrenchment benefits

i got a retrenchment policy 5 years ago from liberty. i recently was retrenched and they won't pay me out nor will they refund my premiums. there was some technicality that they raised, as is always the case, but i've paid for a service and it has not been rendered. my money has been ******
