Liberty Life a SAD & MISERABLE Company to have dealings with.
FOR THE URGENT ATT OF CEO YURESH MAHARAJ. LIfe Policy ***xx- Premium Refund. Having dealt with competitors in this Industry refunds for LIfe Insurance policies are refunded as a matter of course once the benefit is paid out to the nominated beneficiary. However this is not the case with Liberty Life they choose to hold onto your money & make you jump thru every hoop imaginable.
PAPERWORK is definitely what keeps the ill trained Admin Staff in a job in my opinion.
CREDITING the account that they DEBIT with the premium is a frowned upon practise & not one that Libery Life are fami**** with.
As each step progresses yes you guessed correctly they want more.. Application for a refund. ( The system doesnt allow for the fact that the policy holder is deceased & that any subsequent premiums after the members death are refundable.) FICA Details. Copy of your ID ( Strange when you change banking details this would appear not to be an issue as debiting your account is acceptable.)
That said I emailed a copy of my ID & banking details which incidentally are the EXACT SAME.
It has taken from 16 July to 16 September 2024 for a measly refund of R242.38. I kid you not & a second request for my ID which was emailed on 6 August 2024. Now i ask you with tears in my eyes & with the most upto date technology what happens to this sought after information that needs to be sent over & over again?? Is it Job Creation? Stalling tactics? Call it whetever you want to. Liberty Life i will never recommend your Company or your products to anybody. If it takes this long to get a legitimate refund we are better off without each other. 16 September today lets see how long before the miserable R242.38 appears in my Bank account.
